What to expect:
  Building Connections
7:45 - 8:15 AM Registration and Breakfast
8:15 - 8:30 AM Welcome and Opening of the Day!
8:30 - 9:00 AM Building MACC's Social Network
MACC doesn't do a traditional annual meeting. We don't host a gala.

MACC's Member Summit is our space once a year where we bring the whole network together. It's a chance for us to tap into the full diversity and resources of our network. We'll start our day together by connecting face to face, person to person. The connections we build help strengthen the human infrastructure of our network. Our connections, our relationships are what let us tap into the collective resourcefulness, creativity, and ingenuity of this network. We can lean on each other, build each other up, and be resilient no matter that challenges ahead!
  A Story from the Mountaintop
9:00 - 9:45 AM Monica Hurtado: A Story of Courageous Collaboration
We're thrilled to welcome Monica Hurtado, Racial Justice and Health Equity Organizer, for Voices for Racial Justice as our feature storyteller at MACC's Member Summit 2019! Monica will share one of her own stories of courageous collaboration. A story of an unlikely partnership that turned out to be transformative, and the power of working together with community to disrupt the status quo. We'll also leave time at the end for Q&A. Learn more about Monica and her story!
9:45 - 10:00 AM  BREAK!
  Gain Key Collaboration Know How
10:00 - 11:30 AM Karen Ray: National Collaboration Expert and Trainer
Karen Ray knows a thing or two about how to get it right. She literally wrote the book on collaboration. (Well at least a couple of the books) Karen has been helping people build resilient, thriving partnerships for 26 years. She is an authority on building and sustaining collaborative ventures.

Karen will guide us through an experiential learning session to help us build a shared language for effective partnerships, and learn key strategies and tactics for building dynamic, results oriented partnerships.

Rev Up Our Nonprofit R&D Engines
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM LUNCH! (and Lab)
12:00 - 1:45 PM Idea Lab
Our facilitators from the Future Services Institute will use open space technology to guide us as we uncover challenges and opportunities for our network to work on together. We'll bring forward ideas - big and small and leverage the knowledge and expertise in the room to figure out how we take them on. This is an opportunity each year for members to direct the energy and focus of our network.

Do you have challenge or an idea that you could use some co-conspirators to help you tackle? Are you looking for others working on the same issues you are? This is your opportunity to step forward and find partners. This is also your opportunity to be a partner - to share your unique knowledge and expertise - your perspective matters. Any one person can spark that next big idea!
